Memorable city of taj - AGRA

Agra town is bustling with activities at this time since two major train taj express and Bhopal shathabdhi reach this time. Up tourism got tie up for passengers arriving by taj express to pick you from station for Agra sightseeing trip. After city tour you will be dropped back at Agra station for return journey back to delhi
Our driver of innova car was waiting for us at station. We drove past to our hotel regency a 3 star hotel. This hotel is very decent hotel with swimming pool. The rooms are spacious. On check in we dropped our luggage and took shower. We started off from room by after noon around 1 o clock. We had our dinner from a nearby hotel. Though Agra is very small town but got hotels catering to the customers from all over the world from MacDonald's, subways, pizza hut, KFC and you name it all are available here.

After our lunch we went to Agra fort. Agra fort is a massive fort. I think the history of this fort can be best explained in this link www.agrafort/gov.in. renovation work was going on to restore the glory of this palace. Also portion of this fort is under the custody of Indian military. The fort was maintained well and need at least 3 hours to complete the fort.

Kids were tired and they wanted to refresh them self before posing photos before the symbol of love TAJMAHAL. It was hot for kids to bear so we returned to our hotel for a short break. After refreshing our self we set off to see the one of the wonders of world great tajmahal. Due to pollution from nearby industries it is believed that tajmahal being affected and supreme court directive not to allow any motor vehicle near the taj, we parked our car 2km away and took battery operated pod car. Even traditional horse cart also all moved to go nearby. But due to inconvenience of climbing on to this cart we decided to take batterry operated car. A sudden shower cooled the atmosphere and helped our feet from hot marbles tiles.
Sight of tajmahal such a magnificent structure is a real treat for your eyes. The symmetry and scale of this structure make civil engineers like me proud. The  architectural detailing so explicit that imagine how they did in those days with out the aid of computer. The background of yamuna river added to the beauty of this structure. The garden in front of the taj enhances the beauty further.
As an Indian taj is a must visit location. The shot taken in front of taj is most cherished dream
The most iconic symbol of India is a large crowd puller, so it is not easy getting your space to compose your shots for the Taj Mahal.
This few tips on how to take a photo of the Taj Mahal.
Seeing Taj Mahal is the perfect example of seizing upon the analogy, "the early bird catches the worm." Get to the booking office, where the tickets are issued at least 30 minutes before opening time. You are allowed to carry very few things inside, so you might need to deposit luggage.
All of this takes time. Also, it’s a 10-15 minute walk from the booking office to the gate. You have to make sure you are among the first few who enter the gates to get a prime view of the monument, so be sure you are among the first ones in the queue.
Of the 3 entry gates, the East gate has the least crowds. Don’t waste the early morning minutes selecting your guide or collecting your audio guide. Get in, walk around, let the beauty sink in and take your shots.
If you feel the need of a guide, you can always hire them later. Outside the East side gate, a few meters away is the Taj Mahal nature walk. It’s a beautiful place and different trails lead to the various vantage points.
At some points, the trail vanishes and you have to find your own way. Don’t stop. Keep exploring. Through a thick forest cover, with the peacocks for company, you will see magical views of Taj Mahal. It will be a lasting memory!
The most spectacular view was the sight of rainbow arching over the taj after the rain added further beauty of the taj.
After completing our taj visit we returned back to our room.
This time we had dinner from our hotel as this was included in our package
After dinner we just walked the bye lanes of Agra to explore this town.
Next day we don't have much to do as we need to chekout in the afternoon. So kids went to pool and enjoyed them self. We took heavy brunch to skip our lunch. We checked out fro hotel and headed to our nearest station tundla?. You will be surprised why I choose tundla Stan and keen to know more?. See my next episode for further.....
